The best career site photos always feature real employees and work spaces. A stock image of two hands shaking? A blurry person walking down a hallway carrying a briefcase? Fuggedaboutit.

Additionally, outdated images from years ago that don’t reflect your current culture serve no one’s needs. Candidates are savvy consumers, and if they can’t find the information they’re searching for — real insight about your culture and employee experience — they’re moving on.

This is especially important in 2021. The world has changed, and so has your workplace.

Your company may have more team members working remotely. Your teams may have more gender and racial diversity, reflecting your commitment and work towards increased diversity and inclusion. Company work spaces may have been updated.

As offices reopen and more team members safely return, the time is ripe for updating your photo library.
